Bloom where you are planted.

Even when it hurts…

This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of visiting this flower-picking farm. While there, I couldn’t help but consider the biblical principle of reaping and sowing,

So often, tears are portrayed as a weakness. But scripture teaches us differently. Tears, when released through prayer or grief, are usually an internal release, but more than that, they water the soil for future joy.

God has a plan for every function within our body, including tears. If you are burdened this evening with circumstances outside of your control, relationships that have gone awry, or financial struggles that have your back against the wall, trust God with your questions through prayer. Prayer is a believer's means of communication, and it is the emptying of our mind and heart of questions and concerns, trusting that our Good God not only hears but will act on your behalf.

You may be experiencing a situation that has cut you to the core, but that does not mean that you can't bloom right where you are. Strengthening your faith in a faithful God while building experience of trust as you navigate uncertainty.

The Bible says the Lord collects our tears in a bottle. Those tears inevitably become the water for the soil of His promises for our future. You are seen and You are loved. Keep going.

Be encouraged,

'Thou tellest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle: Are they not in thy book? 'Psalm 56:8
